Kay Cleland is one of the owners of KC Mortgage LLC, a local small business in Castle Rock, Colorado. 

Kay began her mortgage career in 1982 and has held many different positions in the mortgage industry from originator, processor, closer, underwriter to manager. She was relocated to Castle Rock 7 years ago from Indiana with National City Mortgage where she opened and ran the regional office. 

She received her Paralegal Certificate from Johnson County Community College in Kansas and furthered her education with a Business Degree from the University of Phoenix.

Kay is a member of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, Colorado BBB, 2012 National Association of Mortgage Brokers Board of Director, 2010 President of the Colorado Association of Mortgage Professionals and a current Board Member. Kay holds the National designations of Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS), Certified Mortgage Consultant (CMC), National Lending Integrity Seal, Approved NAMB State Trainer and the local state designation of Certified Mortgage Lender. She was included in the Cambridge Who’s Who and was voted the 2010-2011 Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Woman. She is a member of the Toys for Tots Foundation and the Winners Circle of the Colorado Special Olympics. She is also the Regional Coordinator and military specialist for USA Cares. www.usacares.org

Kay is married to AJ Cleland, has 2 dogs named Maggie and Bear, loves to golf, ride her Harley, travel and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Tiffany Hughes is a Colorado Native with a B.S. from Colorado State University.  She fell into the mortgage industry by accident in 1996 and has worked in nearly every capacity since.  She opened her first Broker Office on September 11, 2000 and functioned for 8 years with two locations.  Since closing those offices, she has worked for 2 different banks and realized, that to be able to give the best customer service, she needed to go back to owning her own broker shop.  She helped re-open KC Mortgage LLC in May of 2011 and has found great success in serving clients since. 

In 2007, Tiffany was elected to the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers Board of Directors.  She served as the Treasurer until December 2010.   In that time, she earned the 2006 “Accepts the Challenge” Award, 2007 “Broker of the Year” Award and 2009 “President’s Award” for her dedication to the association and the industry. Tiffany is a current member of the Colorado Association of Mortgage Professionals and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.   She is a military specialist for USA Cares. www.usacares.org

Tiffany is married to Tom Hughes and has two children, Anna 10 and Joey 8.  In her free time she enjoys, camping, downhill skiing and running.
